Bayern Munich are not looking to take Ryan Babel from Liverpool Football Club.

The young Dutch forward has failed to nail down a place in the Reds side since his move from Ajax in 2007, and he is worried this will cost him his place in the World Cup.

Babel admits he may look to leave Anfield when the January window opens, but reports that Bayern Munich are ready to bid for him are wide of the mark.

"I do know anything about it," director of sport Christian Nerlinger told Liga Total. "If I do not know anything, you can easily assume there is no truth in this link."
