Kevin Davies believes experience will be vital for Bolton Wanderers Football Club this season.

A 1-1 draw at Fulham leaves the Whites in the bottom three of the Premier League, two points adrift of safety although they still have a game in hand on their fellow strugglers.

It looks as though Gary Megson’s side could face yet another battle with relegation this season, and Davies believes the fact they have been involved in these before will stand them in good stead.

“We've been in this situation before and have that experience,” said the powerful forward. "It's disappointing we didn't hang on for all three points. We didn't get going in the second half."
