Gary Neville believes Liverpool Football Club are still in the title race.

Rafael Benitez’s side have lost five times in the Premier League already this season, although they had some cheer on Sunday afternoon with a 2-0 derby win at Everton.

Whilst many believe the Reds are already out of the race, they have received some backing from the most unlikely of sources...Manchester United’s passionate skipper Neville.

“Despite their problems, I wouldn't rule Liverpool or any big team out of the championship race in November,” the defender wrote in his Sunday Times of Malta column.

“All big teams are capable of going on long unbeaten runs and there is still a January transfer window to come. Ay team that goes on a winning run can put themselves in position.”
