Toure could be perfect to get Arsenal bid back on track
12:00 PM 02 December, 2009
Yaya Toure could be the ideal signing for Arsenal Football Club.

A 3-0 loss to Chelsea leaves the Gunners trailing their London rivals by eleven points in the Premier League, a gap which many feel they will be unable to make up.

Once again it has been levelled at Arsene Wenger’s side that they are too lightweight this season, something which the addition of Toure in January could help resolve.

The Ivory Coast international is currently plying his trade in Spain for European Champions Barcelona, but he admits a lack of first team starts is frustrating him.

"My situation is astonishing. I have to take a personal decision about all this," he told France Football. "I think that at my age a player is at his peak in physical and ability terms.

“But I do not have the chance to play at the moment. This situation is damaging. I need more minutes because I am not playing enough. But the coach is the one that has to decide.”

Wenger is a known admirer of the midfield player and could make an offer to take him in the New Year, although both Manchester City and United are also said to be keen.

If Yaya Toure could be tempted to come to us ,he would be a great addition. We have plenty of zippy, nippy skilful little players but who are all to often Muscled out of the game. Yaya has the skill, but also has the strength and Build to be able to "put himself about " when required,He would defo be on my wish list !!!
