Premier League giants on Yaya Toure alert
08:48 PM 01 December, 2009
Yaya Toure’s agent has revealed the midfielder could be willing to discuss a move to the Premier League when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.

The brother of Manchester City’s Kolo is currently struggling to nail down a place in the Barcelona line-up, and his agent has warned the Spaniards that the midfielder could be ready to leave.

“The situation must change soon or the kid leaves Barcelona in January," Dmitri Seluk said in The Sun. "Yaya is not on the bench and this situation isn't helpful for them or us.

“We do not understand Barca's motives. If a club like Arsenal, Chelsea or Manchester City are interested in the transfer window, then we are open to negotiation."

There should be no more bull or excuses, Wenger who I have trusted throughout has to do more business. Every other team in world football has injuries however they go out and purchase and deal with problem except Arsenal. Tottenham being a prime example, addititional defenders and Niko arrived immediately after Modric got injured. This was decisive and sound business. We need more experience and power in the team, fact. So if Toure is available get him as well as 2-3 further additions to the team who have strength has well as quality as being pushed around the pitch is not good enough at this level. When we were at our best we had both, with Petit, Viera, Edu and Gilberto as well as centre halves with immense power. Luca Toni may at least add some height and power to the team and yes Chamakh looks a possibility but it is time to stop talking crap and start to buy or we WILL lose our best players in the next 2-3 years when it is quite clearly avoidsable. They want to compete so enough already, give them the means to do so. I hope someone forwards this to Arsene as he needs a kick this time. We are blessed some amazingly talented players but knowone to protect them, ridiculous!! Get it sorted out please.
