Darren Ambrose has emerged as a target for Hull City Football Club.

The former Charlton Athletic and Newcastle United midfielder is currently impressing in the Championship with Crystal Palace, for whom he has scored twelve times this season.

Tigers manager Phil Brown has been suitably impressed with the 26-year-old, and the Daily Star claim he is set to make a move for the player in the New Year.

Whilst the Eagles would be reluctant to part with Ambrose, they are experiencing financial difficulties and Brown believes an offer of £1million may be enough to strike a deal.
