Crouch confident of Tottenham Hotspur response
09:40 PM 02 December, 2009
Peter Crouch is confident Tottenham Hotspur Football Club will bounce back from their Carling Cup quarter-final disappointment.

Harry Redknapp’s side were never in the running at Old Trafford on Tuesday night, as Manchester United brushed them aside 2-0 to progress to the last four.

However, Crouch is sure he and his team-mates will bounce back from their disappointment, starting with the clash against Everton this weekend.

"We have done fantastically well so far this season, this was a disappointment and hopefully it's a one-off,” the striker told the official club website. "We now have to focus on the league and the FA Cup, starting with Everton on Sunday."

I blame Harry. How do you expect the team to perform if you said that you rather a top four finish than a trophy. What message are you sending to the team? Imagine a second string Man U team we could not even score on. Come on Spurs with our fire power we could do much better than that.
