Birmingham City Football Club hope to have Martin Taylor back around Christmas time.

The defender hasn’t played this season due to ankle ligament image, but the Blues are hoping to have him back before the festive period or, if not, shortly afterwards.

"Martin Taylor is at a good level of fitness now and should be ready for the festive season or just after,” manager Alex McLeish is quoted on skysports.com.

"He will be okay for a reserve-team game very soon and we will also look to organise one or two friendlies at the training ground for him."
