Tottenham Hotspur rule out Foster and James
Tottenham Hotspur Football Club will not be looking to sign Ben Foster or David James in January.
An injury to Carlo Cudicini is likely to force Harry Redknapp into the transfer market for goalkeeper reinforcements in the New Year, with Foster and James rumoured targets.
However, the Spurs boss has ruled out bids for the Manchester United and Portsmouth shot-stoppers, as he can’t guarantee either of the England stars first team football.
"People have talked about David James and Ben Foster but they are going to want to play and Heurelho Gomes has been brilliant this season,” said Redknapp.
