Milijas glad to get off the mark for Wolverhampton
Nenad Milijas was delighted to break his duck for Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club.
The 26-year-old summer recruit scored his first goal for his new club in the 2-1 win over Bolton Wanderers on Saturday, and he is now hoping more will follow.
"It was an important goal for me, but at my previous club I scored a lot of goals like this," said Milijas. "It's normal. Last year, I scored 22 goals.
“It was an easier division, but there was no pressure on me here. The only pressure was from myself, because I had played so many games. There was a big pressure on this team though.
"This football is hard and different for me, but I think the goal will lift my confidence in the games coming up. The win was the most important thing. It was a hard week but I think we deserved it."
