No Chelsea regret for Wright-Phillips
Shaun Wright-Phillips insists he has no regrets over his move to Chelsea Football Club.
The England international left Manchester City for the Blues in a £21million deal back in the summer of 2005, but after a disappointing spell, he returned north last summer for just £10million.
Wright-Phillips insists, though, that he doesn’t regret his move to Stamford Bridge, and he is sure he learnt a lot during his time in London.
"I was still young when I left City. I learned a lot at Chelsea partly down to the players I played alongside. To put it into practice back at City has made me really happy,” he said.
"City is a very family-oriented club. Chelsea is in the centre of London, there is a different crowd following them, maybe more business people go to watch them.”
