George Boateng is confident Hull City Football Club can cope without Jimmy Bullard.

£5million signing Bullard has been superb for the Tigers since returning from a lengthy injury lay-off, but he faces another spell on the sidelines after picking up another knee injury.

It remains to be seen how long the former Fulham star will be out for this time, but his midfield pal Boateng is sure Phil Brown’s men can cope without the popular player.

“Jimmy has been brilliant for us,” he said. “We mustn't be too negative because we don't know the extent of the injury. But we are not a one-man team.”
