Jose Reina has absolutely no thoughts whatsoever about leaving Liverpool Football Club.

Despite the Reds suffering a hugely disappointing season, the Spanish goalkeeper remains firmly in love with the Anfield club and he is eager to extend his contract.

"I would like to stay here a long, long time, I am certain about that," said Reina, who moved to Merseyside in 2005 from Villarreal and is tied to the club until 2012.

"I couldn't imagine playing for another club and pulling on another shirt. The club knows how I feel about this, so hopefully there will be some developments soon. I am ready to talk.

“I realise just how lucky I am to represent this club. I couldn't be happier here. My family is well settled down and my children especially feel like Liverpool is home.”
