Mamady Sidibe wants to remain at Stoke City Football Club...but only on the right terms.
The striker has told Mali he doesn’t want to be considered for their African Cup of Nations squad next month, after recently returning from eight months on the sidelines with a knee injury.
Instead, Sidibe plans to win back his place in Tony Pulis’s first team, which he then hopes will lead to an extension to his contract which is currently set to expire in the summer.
“Mamady has only just returned to playing and he wants to repay Stoke for the faith they have show in him," agent Gregory Dakad told skysports.com.
"He is out of contract in the summer and he is keen to remain with Stoke - but so far has rejected two or three offers from them. Mamady is very happy at Stoke, but he needs the right deal."
