Fulham Football Club’s Bobby Zamora earned the plaudits from his manager on Saturday.
The striker scored his fourth goal of the season to put the Cottagers 1-0 up against Burnley, although the Lancastrians struck back to earn a share of the spoils.
Hodgson has been full of praise for Zamora in recent weeks, and he again hailed the former West Ham United hitman following Saturday’s clash.
"He was strong enough to hold the defender at bay and finish with an excellent right foot shot,” he told Sky Sports. "I've always thought once he starts scoring, he'd score lots of goals."
