Andy Carroll has been linked with a shock move to Chelsea Football Club.

Reports in the Sunday Mirror claim Newcastle United have finally lost patience with the 20-year-old, who was recently arrested for the second time in fifteen months.

The tabloid claim Carlo Ancelotti could be about to make a shock move for the striker, as he looks to bolster his Stamford Bridge squad in the New Year.

Carroll, who stands at 6ft 3in tall, would be a surprise signing for the Premier League leaders, who have also been linked with the likes of Sergio Aguero and Alexandre Pato.

The St James Park striker would, of course, cost a hell of a lot less than either the Atletico Madrid or AC Milan star, but question marks surround his ability to be a genuine top-flight talent.
