Everton Football Club target Madjid Bougherra will not change clubs in January.

David Moyes is believed to be keeping tabs on the Rangers defender, but despite revealing a desire to return to England, the former Charlton Athletic ace will not leave in the New Year.

“I have plenty of options from among the English, Spanish and French leagues, but my wish is to return to England and play for a good Premier League club,” said Bougherra.

“But I am happy at Rangers, and I don’t want to leave them during the January transfer window. I have no doubt that the best time for me to leave will be next summer, just after the World Cup.”
