Green grateful for Bolton Wanderers test
Robert Green is glad West Ham United Football Club are in action this midweek.
Following their 1-0 defeat at Birmingham City on Saturday, the Hammers remain in the bottom three and travel to Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday.
The Reebok Stadium club are a place and a point below the Londoners, and Green is glad he and his team-mates have a chance to get back to winning ways so soon after the St Andrews loss.
“I'm glad we have got a game at Bolton so soon," said the goalkeeper. "Wolverhampton Wanderers won at Tottenham Hotspur, Bolton got a draw with Manchester City.
“We need to get some points. We have to go to Bolton, grit our teeth, and get a positive result. These are important times for us. We have to start picking up points and go on a good run.”
