Cardiff striker is valuable property
Ross McCormack, Championship goal-scoring leader could be the subject of transfer activity in January
McCormack is joint top scorer with Reading's Kevin Doyle following his 120,000 pound move from Motherwell.
Cardiff manager Dave Jones told the South Wales Echo, "I wouldn’t be surprised if there is interest in Ross when the January transfer window opens."
Chairman Peter Ridsdale said, "Dave Jones wants to keep this squad together and I totally support that."
"We have not had an approach for any of our players recently and we will deal with the situation if that happens.
"But our view has not changed – we do not want to sell anybody. Our aim is to earn promotion as soon as possible. We need our leading players to stay."
