Hull City confirm Campbell interest
10:10 AM 19 December, 2009
Phil Brown admits he would not be against Sol Campbell joining Hull City Football Club.

The 35-year-old defender is available on a free transfer following his one-match stint at Notts County, and Brown admits he tried to sign him in the summer.

Campbell, formerly of Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Portsmouth, has again been offered to the Tigers, and the KC Stadium boss admits a move could be possible.

"I made an offer for Sol in the summer and he went elsewhere," said Brown in the Daily Express. "He has been offered to us again and I am not aware if there is rival interest

"I wouldn't be against the fact that I could speak to Sol Campbell, but I have done the chasing and it hasn't come around, so we will leave it at that. The ball is in his court now.”
