Birmingham City Football Club are interested in David Bentley.

The England international has struggled for form since leaving Blackburn Rovers for Tottenham Hotspur in a £15million deal back in the summer of 2008.

Although Harry Redknapp is not actively seeking to offload the former Arsenal youngster, he is likely to listen to any offers which come his way in the New Year.

And according to the Daily Express, Blues boss Alex McLeish, who will be handed around £40million top spend in the winter, is targeting a move for Bentley.
