Harry Redknapp accepts Maynor Figueroa will not be joining Tottenham Hotspur Football Club.

The Londoners have been heavily linked with the Wigan Athletic fullback, who last weekend scored a stunning goal from inside his own half in the 2-2 draw at Stoke City.

However, Redknapp has revealed a deal for the Honduran is unlikely, and has hinted that the player could be on his way elsewhere, sparking speculation of a fresh approach by Sunderland.

“No, it's not a goer,” said the White Hart Lane manager. “I think it's a done deal with another club. I don't know how our name has come into it."
