Everton youngster in determined mood
Everton Football Club’s James Vaughan is determined to stay injury-free for the rest of the season.
The 21-year-old, who became the youngest ever Premier League goalscorer in 2005, has suffered with injuries all season, even picking up a knee problem whilst on loan at Derby County.
Vaughan made his return for the Toffees in the 1-1 draw with Birmingham City on Sunday, and he is now determined to remain injury-free for the rest of the campaign.
"Hopefully I can now stay fit for the remainder of the season and have a good second half of the campaign,” he said. "The past is the past for me and I don't really want to look back.
"I just want to move on now, forget about my injuries, forget about everything that's gone before and just invent myself again. Hopefully then I can give people new things to talk about."
