Gary Megson has warned his Bolton Wanderers Football Club board not to sell Gary Cahill.

Both Manchester City and Manchester United have been linked with the former Aston Villa defender, who has been excellent since moving to the Reebok Stadium.

However, with the Whites in deep relegation trouble in the Premier League, Megson has warned his board not to even think about letting Cahill leave no matter how much is offered.

“This club can’t sell Gary Cahill in January,” he said. “There is no amount of money that I would recommend that we accept to take for him. It is impossible to replace that kind of player.”
