Sheffield United play tough over Kilgallon
10:30 AM 23 December, 2009
Sheffield United Football Club will not let Matthew Kilgallon leave on the cheap.

Bolton Wanderers and Newcastle United are both keen to sign the defender, who has rejected a new deal at Bramall Lane and looks to be up for grabs in the New Year.

However, Blades chairman Kevin McCabe insists he wants a big fee for Kilgallon, despite the 25-year-old being out of contract at the end of the season.

“The only way Matthew will be going anywhere is if we receive an offer that's acceptable to this club,” he said. "If we don't then he will be staying for the remainder of his deal.”
