Kieran Richardson has reportedly rejected a new deal at Sunderland Football Club.

The former Manchester United midfielder is out of contract at the end of the 2010/11 campaign, and the Daily Star claim he has rejected a new one-year offer.

This could alert Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp, who has been linked with a move for Richardson since arriving at White Hart Lane last season.

The 25-year-old was once billed as a potential England star of the future, but after making eight appearances, he has not represented his country since 2006.
