Heskey could yet return to Liverpool
Liverpool Football Club may turn to Emile Heskey when the transfer window reopens.
The former Anfield forward has struggled to nail down a place in the Aston Villa line-up since moving from Wigan Athletic last January, and he fears this could cost him his England place.
It has been rumoured that Rafael Benitez could turn to Heskey when the winter window opens, as he looks to find someone to help share the burden on Fernando Torres.
However, The Times claim last season’s Premier League runners-up would have to sell before launching a bid for the 31-year-old, who Martin O’Neill would be reluctant to part with.
