Arsenal finally snap over Fabregas Barca link
Arsenal Football Club chairman Peter Hill-Wood has lost his patience with Barcelona, who are constantly being linked with a move for Cesc Fabregas.
The Spaniard left the Camp Nou for the Gunners in 2006, but as he has developed into one of the best midfielders in the world, the Catalans have made no secret of their desire to take him back.
The latest link came about following comments made by Barca president Joan Laporta, and this has led to Hill-Wood finally reaching boiling point.
“I am really p****d off with Barcelona and all that nonsense," he told the Daily Star. "Cesc is on a very good, long-term contract and I don't think he has any intention of not honouring it.
"It is not the first time they have done this and it is a most disrespectful and tiresome thing to do. Our position, and I think Cesc's position, is very steadfast.
“There is no reason he should want to up sticks. I don't think I would talk to him about what Barcelona have been saying because I don't think he wants to talk about it.”
