Fulham alerted to Koren availability
02:30 PM 29 December, 2009
West Bromwich Albion Football Club admit they may sell Robert Koren in the New Year.

The Slovenian midfielder is unhappy with the lack of first team starts he is getting this season, as he prepares to play a role in the World Cup Finals in the summer.

Fulham have been linked with a £3million bid for Koren, 29, when the transfer window reopens, and Baggies coach Roberto di Matteo admits he may let the player leave.

"When Robert and myself review the situation at the beginning of January, we will be sympathetic,” said the Italian. "Robert has made it clear he needs to make more appearances at first-team level.

"It then becomes a matter of whether we can see a way forward together. If not, he will be made available for sale during the transfer window. It would be a reluctant decision on my part."
