Nottingham Forest Football Club have set their sights on Charlie Adam.

The 24-year-old joined Blackpool on loan from Rangers last January, and his performances were enough to warrant a permanent transfer during the summer window.

Adam has continued to impress this season, and Gary Megson is believed to be lining up an offer to tempt him to Bolton Wanderers during the New Year.

However, the Mirror believe Championship high-fliers Forest are about to enter the race, and Billy Davies hopes to beat off competition to land the Scotland international for £1.5million.
