Arsene Wenger is sure Wojciech Szczesny can be a huge star for Arsenal Football Club.

The 19-year-old goalkeeper has been at the Gunners since 2006, and is currently on loan at Brentford where he has made six appearances in League One.

Szczesny, who already has one cap for the Poland national side, is rated highly by Wenger, who is convinced the youngster can have a long career at the Emirates Stadium.

“My plan is to continue to develop him. The problem with a goalkeeper is it is a little bit special, because in a big club like Arsenal, we need very good goalkeepers,” said the French coach.

“You know that the experience is a big part, so we will give him as much experience as we can as soon as we can. We have identified Wojciech as a future great, great goalkeeper.”
