Brown eyes Hull City additions
06:30 PM 29 December, 2009
Phil Brown hopes to add to his Hull City Football Club squad in January.

Chairman Adam Pearson has revealed players must be sold to allow new arrivals during the winter window, and Brown is hopeful he can offload his fringe players.

"It's been well documented of the financial state of play at the football club," he told Sky Sports News. "I'm working long and hard with the chairman, not against him.

"We've got a fair size squad I know that, and there will be players, and they know who they are, who are surplus at this moment in time.

"But I have to be creative there's no doubt about it and the players that will leave hopefully will give me some kind of budget to get one or two players in that we've already identified."

ok then brownie, you need to think loan moves too, here are a couple of players that would be great for the tigers: Kevin Thomson- a quality and understated scottish central midfielder, as is the case with a few rangers players, thomson is pretty defensive and when fit, provides invaluble protection to the back four as well as taking corners and free kicks well. with their own financial difficulties, rangers aren't guaranteeing holding on to any first team regulars and could alow him so go for under 2 million. he's just 25 so cheaper and younger than nicky butt who has be rumoured to be linked with a kc move scott brown- ok, this would have to be a loan move as he's valued at 14 million but he is an ex team mate of thomson and the pairing was one of the best in the spl before the players were sent to either sides of the old firm. he's an attacking midfielder, best just out to the left and is one of the best players in the scotland national side.
