Megson wishes Bolton Wanderers best
Gary Megson insists he wishes nothing but the best for Bolton Wanderers Football Club.
The 50-year-old was sacked by the Whites earlier this week after two years in charge, a period in which he never won over the Reebok Stadium faithful.
Megson, speaking to the League Managers Association official website, has revealed he is saddened by his departure, but he wishes his former employers all the best.
"Naturally I am saddened to receive the news from the club and disappointed not to have been given the opportunity to at least see out my contract with Bolton Wanderers," he said.
“I am also proud to have managed a club with great history and tradition. I would to thank the players and all the staff for their efforts during my time in charge and I wish the club every success.”
