Portsmouth must keep star players, warns Grant
Avram Grant has warned his Portsmouth Football Club board not to sell his star players.
The Fratton Park club are rock bottom of the Premier League and four points adrift of safety, as they head into the second half of a very difficult campaign.
Younes Kaboul has been linked with a move to Manchester City in January and David James continues to be mentioned with Tottenham Hotspur, but Grant insists both must stay.
“All the players in the team need to stay, I think the board knows that," said the Pompey boss. "From the football side, we need players to stay and we need to make the team stronger.”
