Valon Behrami hopes a good FA Cup run could help West Ham United Football Club’s fight against relegation from the Premier League.

The Hammers are one place off the drop zone and just four points off rock bottom, and their fans will be glad of the distraction the FA Cup brings this weekend.

Arsenal travel to Upton Park for the pick of the third round draw, and whilst Behrami accepts this will be a huge test, he hopes a win could help boost their season.

“The draw was not very kind to us but we are at home, and we can have a good result,” he said. “A good cup run could help us in the league. Mentally this can give us a boost."
