Zamora tipped to hit 20 for Fulham
09:58 PM 03 January, 2010
Roy Hodgson has tipped Bobby Zamora to score 20 goals for Fulham Football Club this term.

The 28-year-old notched his eleventh goal of the season in the 1-0 FA Cup win over Swindon Town on Saturday, and his manager has backed him to go from strength-to-strength.

"Eleven is good for Bobby and if we can get him onto 20 goals this year then that will be fantastic,” he said. "The way that he is going at the moment, he's well on target for that.

"He was angry for not scoring the first chance which he set up for himself early on. The goal was a very fine strike and throughout the game I thought he did well."

The last time Zamora scored over 20 goals in a season was back in 2000/01, when he banged in 31 for Brighton & Hove Albion at the beginning of his career.
