Phil Brown has hailed Hull City Football Club’s capture of Kamil Zayatte.
The Tigers fought off competition from Everton and Newcastle United to sign for Young Berne Boys defender on loan, and Brown is ready to hand him a debut at Newcastle United on Saturday.
"He was with Everton first and then Newcastle in the same week and we were fortunate enough to get hold of him,” the KC Stadium manager told the Hull Daily Mail.
"It was interesting that we could compete with clubs like Everton and Newcastle, that's great news for us. But it's not just competing in the transfer market that we need.
“We need to be competing on the field.”
