Benjani believes he is back in Manchester City Football Club’s plans.

Although the Zimbabwean international is yet to play a single minute in the Blues Premier League campaign this season, he started the FA Cup third round tie at Middlesbrough.

And after scoring the only goal of the game, the 31-y-year-old believes he has pushed his way into Roberto Mancini’s plans for the rest of the season.

"The manager is giving everybody a chance, that's easy to see,” Benjani told the official club site.
“He wants to give everyone a game, so if you get that chance it's up to you to take it.

"With a few injuries about at the moment we are all getting the chance, and form in training is important to get into the manager's thoughts."
