Keane desperate to speak to Tottenham Hotspur star

Roy Keane is desperate to hold talks with Tottenham Hotspur’s Giovani dos Santos.

The 20-year-old Mexican international is struggling to force his way into Harry Redknapp’s plans at White Hart Lane, and could be available for loan this month.

Dos Santos enjoyed a loan spell at Ipswich Town last season, and Tractor Boys manager Keane admits he would love the player back at Portman Road.

"Gio is probably too good a player for the Championship but I'd love to have him back here," Keane said in The People. “Harry Redknapp is willing to let him go out on loan again.

“I think he's changed his phone number because I've been ringing him so much lately. If I could talk to the boy I'm confident I could sell Ipswich Town to him."

Ipswich is a great club for loan players to go and i remember he enjoyed a fantastic spell there last season so i think we should send him bac!!

We should send him to Pompey. He's gonna have premiership football for the rest of the season, pretty much guaranteed a place in the 11 and a delegation battle will be good for the mental side of his game. I don't see the benefit to him joining a championship side

he should've got his chance when modric was injured potentialy hes world class. hes proved it at international level on numerous occasions.
