Fulham expecting interest in Zamora
05:00 PM 05 January, 2010
Fulham Football Club’s Roy Hodgson expects interest in Bobby Zamora this month.

The former West Ham United hitman has been in great form this season, with six goals in his last seven games taking his tally for the campaign to eleven.

Although Zamora has yet to be linked with a transfer during the winter window, Hodgson admits he wouldn’t be surprised if he is forced to fend off interest.

"I'm sure he will attract attention because there aren't many players of that type in the Premier League, and there are even fewer English ones,” he said.

"So I wouldn't be surprised if we got calls for Bobby, but we would tell them that he's not for sale and we want to keep him here. We hope he wants to stay with us as well."
