Rosicky delighted to pen Arsenal contract
09:47 PM 04 January, 2010
Tomas Rosicky is delighted to sign a new contract at Arsenal Football Club.

The Czech Republic international has been with the Gunners since 2006, but his time has been savaged by injury and his deal was set to expire in the summer.

Arsene Wenger, though, is a huge fan of the 29-year-old midfielder, who has now penned an extension to his contract at the Emirates Stadium.

“I am so pleased to have signed a new contract with Arsenal," Rosicky told the club's official website. "The last two seasons haven't been easy for me because of injuries.

“But I feel it speaks volumes about the club's belief in me for this to be signed, and I truly believe I have a lot left to offer the club, my team-mates and all the supporters.

"It's felt like home since I arrived here four years ago and I believe we're on the verge of achieving something special together. I hope that together, we are all celebrating at the end of the season."
