Scott McDonald’s agent insists the striker is staying at Celtic Football Club.

Both Wigan Athletic and Middlesbrough have been heavily linked with the Australian international, but his agent insists the 26-year-old is set to remain at Parkhead.

"I speak to Scott every day, and, as far as I am concerned, he wants to be at Celtic," Lou Sticca told the Evening Times. "I have also spoken regularly to (chief executive) Peter Lawwell.

“And he has told me that Celtic are happy with Scott. If anything does happen, it will be Celtic telling Scott to leave, not Scott asking to go."
