David Silva insists he knows nothing of speculation linking him with a move to the big two of Spanish football, Barcelona and Real Madrid.

The forward is widely expected to quit Valencia within the next two transfer windows, and as well the top teams in England, he is also wanted at the Camp Nou and the Bernabeu.

However, the 23-year-old has attempted to play down speculation regarding his future, by insisting he is only concentrating on life at the Mestalla Stadium.

"I am focused on my team," said Silva. "Besides, it is something that no longer depends on me. I just think about hopefully being in the UEFA Champions League next season.

“We are in good form and want to continue like this. You should ask the coach and the president. I am dedicated to playing and it all depends on the need of the team that wants to sign me."
