The former Manchester United youngster cost the Potters just £1million when he was signed two years ago, but he has made huge progress since.

Indeed, the Old Trafford club have been linked with taking him back, and more recently, Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur have been linked.

However, any club which decides to make an enquiry for Shawcross are in for a shock, as Stoke have rated the centre-half at a whopping £20million.
