Avram Grant may recall David Nugent to his Portsmouth Football Club squad.

The England international cap is on loan at Burnley until later this month, when Pompey may recall him due to their transfer embargo.

"We are thinking about this," said Fratton Park boss Grant. "In the next few days we will know. It depends on many things. But it could happen."

Nugent was a big disappointment at Pompey following his move from Preston North End in the summer of 2007, scoring just six times in 45 outings.
