Shawcross plans lengthy Stoke City stay
Ryan Shawcross has no intention of leaving Stoke City Football Club.
Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur have been heavily linked with the 22-year-old defender in recent weeks, due to his starring performances in the Premier League.
However, the former Manchester United youngster, who was signed for just £1million, has no plans to quit the Britannia Stadium any time soon.
"I have signed a new four-and-a-half year deal (in November)," Shawcross, valued at £20million by the Potters, told The Sentinel. "I am happy and the manager is happy.
"I am playing every week in a Premier League team and I have been made captain a couple of times. What more could I ask for? I'm loving it here and want to stay."
