Gudjohnsen places Premier League trio on alert
08:30 PM 08 January, 2010
Eidur Gudjohnsen could be heading back to England in the winter transfer window.

The Icelandic international was a huge success in the Premier League with Bolton Wanderers and Chelsea, winning two titles with the latter.

Gudjohnsen left Barcelona for Monaco in the summer but has failed to settle in France, sparking rumours he could be on the move again this month.

Blackburn Rovers, Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are all keen on the 31-year-old, and his father and agent admits a return to England is possible.

"I am not sure what he is going to do," Arnor Gudjohnsen told the Daily Mirror. "He is going to take the next two weeks to decide. He could stay. He is very open.

“Nobody knows yet. He is obviously seriously thinking about a return to England but he has not made any decision. It is in his hands."
