Kenwyne Jones still has a future at Sunderland Football Club, says Steve Bruce.

The 25-year-old was earlier this week linked with a £9million move to Birmingham City, but the Black Cats manager insists he has received no bids.

Furthermore, Bruce insists the former Southampton man, a Trinidad & Tobago international, still has a future at the Stadium of Light and is not for sale.

"We haven't received any bids for Kenwyne," he told the club's official website. "He's an important part of our team and he isn't going anywhere. I want quality players like Kenwyne Jones at the club."
