Holmar Orn Eyjolfsson has left West Ham United Football Club on loan.

The 19-year-old defender has yet to play for the Hammers first team, and had a spell in League Two with Cheltenham Town earlier this season.

Gianfranco Zola is ken for Eyjolfsson to gain more first team experience, and the youngster has now been loaned out to Belgian side Roeselare.

"At West Ham I haven't played very much so at Roeselare I want to play more minutes," said the player. "Playing for points every week will help to make me stronger."
