Niko Kranjcar believes Tottenham Hotspur Football Club have the best squad in England.

The Croatian international joined Harry Redknapp’s side in a bargain £2.5million switch from Portsmouth in September, and he has played a key role in their climb up the table.

Spurs are currently lying fourth in the table as they chase a UEFA Champions League place, and Kranjcar certainly feels they have the strength in depth to succeed.

"We might have the best squad in the league," he said. "If you look through the 20 or so first-team squad players we currently have, we are very strong. I felt that when I came here.”

Redknapp is certainly building an impressive squad at White Hart Lane, but do have more quality than what Carlo Ancelotti has at Chelsea, for example?
